Thale La & Mashabrum Trek
To the base camp of Masherbrum and over the Thalle La into the Shigar valley — three parallel valleys of Baltistan in one moderate trek.
Hushe, Thalle and Shigar
“La” means pass in Balti, the language of Baltistan. This program visits the base camp of Masherbrum and then crosses the Thalle La, which links the Thalle valley with the Shigar valley.
Both parts are moderate treks with a real spirit of adventure and wilderness, and along the way you meet the different cultures, landscapes and habitats of three parallel valleys — Hushe, Thalle and Shigar.
