Rakaposhi Hunza Base Camp
The base camps of Diran and Rakaposhi from two different valleys, followed by Hunza and the Khunjerab Pass.
Two giants of the Karakoram
Rakaposhi (7,788 m) and Diran (7,266 m) are best seen from the Hunza valley. On this tour we visit the base camps of both mountains, approaching each from a different valley.
For Diran we go to Bagrot, a green, fertile and little-visited valley near Gilgit. For Rakaposhi we trek from Minapin village, just off the Karakoram Highway. The tour ends with sightseeing in Hunza and a drive to the Khunjerab Pass on the border with China.
